Kodak Closes Plant in Business Park

By: WROC-TV
Updated: May 14, 2012
Kodak has decided to close one of its plants in the Eastman Business Park.

Building 319 is the company's thermal media coating and finishing operation. Kodak decided to close this plant, which impacts about 80 workers. The company says it had been considering the possibility of closing for a while. The plant was an excess in capacity for Kodak. The company says the thermal coating and finishing plant in Colorado is enough to meet current and future demand.

Kodak says the closure will not affect its customers or suppliers.
