By: WROC-TV
Updated: September 10, 2008

Monroe County announced plans Wednesday to share alternative and bio-fuels with the county's towns and villages.  The county says that towns and the City of Rochester have come out in support of the plan.

The county is making the fuel, available at its new Green Fuel station, available under a set pricing plan.

Hydrogen fuel cells, E-20 ethanol, E-85 ethanol, and B-20 biodiesel will be available.

Monroe County opened the Green Fuel station last month near the Rochester International Airport.
