Kodak Total Layoffs Top 500

In July, 140 more Kodak workers are set to lose their jobs.
Kodak notified the New York State Department of Labor but says these were layoffs that had already been announced.
Meanwhile, these latest layoffs bring the total number of kodak layoffs to 527.
The cuts have come in all of Kodak's bases from the downtown office and Eastman Park to its research labs in rochester.
The cuts so far make up about 10-percent of Kodak's local employment.
As
of the end of 2011 that was a little more than 5,100 employees in
Rochester.
Here's a breakdown of the job cuts by location:
Downtown Office: 172
Eastman Park: 128
Manitou Road: 86
Research Labs: 112
Canal Ponds: 29
