Shutterfly Likely to Receive Kodak Gallery Assets

By: WROC-TV
Updated: April 25, 2012
Kodak is expected to fork over their gallery assets to Shutterfly. The price tage on the deal is $23.8 million.

The move still has to be approved by the U.S. bankruptcy court, but it is expected that it will not be denied. Shutterfly says no other company placed a bid for the assets. If approved, all of Kodak's online photo services will go to Shutterfly. This also includes the Kodak Gallery's current U.S. and Canadian customers.

Shutterfly says this deal will help solidify them as a marketable and profitable company.
