Boys: (7)Victor 49, (2)Athena 32

(7)Victor went on an 18-3 run in the first half to blow open a close game and then coasted to a 49-32 upset win over (2)Athena in the Class AA2 Semifinals Tuesday night at Gates-Chili.

Mitch Ford led the Blue Devils with 18 points. T.J. DiSanto and John Maloney each added ten points.

Next up for Victor is top seeded East in Saturday's sectional championship.
