Three fire companies were needed to battle an overnight plant fire.
It started just before 1:30 a.m. at the T and L Automatics Plant on Emerson Street.
Firefighters said workers inside the plant were performing a cutting process when a spark flew and hit some oil, which then sparked into flames.
About six workers were inside at the time of the fire and were able to get out safely.
The fire was quickly contained, but a third alarm was called because of size of the building and heavy smoke.
Firefighters said because the building is so old it doesn't have smoke detectors or a sprinkler system.
