Rochester Man Killed in Thruway High Speed Chase

A Rochester man died after a high speed chase with New York State Police on the Thruway.
It happened near exit 23 in Albany. Police say Ricardo Bernabeu, 25, died after his car went off the road into trees. Bernabeu was being chased after police discovered he was driving a stolen vehicle. He died on impact.
Investigators also determined that Bernabeu stole a Lexus from Rochester, which he abandoned at a gas station in the town of Canastota.
