RCT Season Opens with "Annie"

Rochester Children's Theatre 21st season will open with "Annie." The productions are December 10, 11, 17, 18 at Nazareth College Arts Center.

Annie is the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin.
RCT's 33-member cast features Ken Harrington as Warbucks, Peter Doyle as FDR, Cindy Hill as Hannigan, Danny Hoskins as Rooster, Jennifer Walczak as Grace, and Lani Toyama as Lily. Thornell Road Elementary School (Pittsford) fifth grader, Shannon Beel, and Maddie Berl, a fifth grader at Seton Catholic School from Victor, share the role of Annie. Playing the role of Sandy is canine actor, Abby, a Goldendoodle (cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle) who works with Mary Cariola Children's Center as a licensed therapy dog. "
