McQuaid 28, Brockport 21

(7)McQuaid got used short TD runs from Theo Ekiyor to come from behind and beat (3)Brockport 28-21 in the Class A semifinals Saturday night at Sahlen's Stadium.
The Blue Devils led 13-6 at the half thanks to a 69 yard touchdown run by Denzell Knight.
McQuaid answered early in the 3rd quarter on a Seery Donnan 19 yard scoring run and tied the game at 13.
The Knight buried Brockport at their own 14 on the ensuing kickoff, but the next play was a Tom Sydeski to Markell Collins 86 yard touchdown pass. Collins was called for a questionable celebration penalty that moved the two point conversion back to the 18 yard line, but Sydeski hit Collins in the end zone for two and Brockport led 21-13.
McQuaid had no trouble answering when Ekiyor bounced out of a pile and found paydirt from four yards out. Ekiyor also muscled in for two and the game was tied again at 21.
From there, McQuaid's defense was in charge. Brockport never crossed midfield again and the Knights took the lead on a 36 yard scoring drive capped with another Ekiyor run.
McQuaid's reward for the win is a date with their arch rivals from (4)Aquinas in the Class A Final Friday night.
