DuBois Helping Elba, Byron-Bergen Come Together

Elba and Byron-Bergen had a rocky start to their marriage as one football team... just like many marriages.
The Lancers are in their fourth year as a combined team and are now a smoothly operated program. It gives kids like Zach DuBois a chance to play. Byron-Bergen didn't have a football team until it joined with Elba. Without DuBois, the Lancers may not have much of a season.
One big play in week two turned around the sputtering start to 2011 for Elba/B-B. DuBois made it and then followed with a stunning pile of numbers in week 3. Thad Brown tells the story in our Athlete of the Week.
