Marcus McGill scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter--including two on kickoff returns--as Gates-Chili nipped Schroeder 30-27 in Gates Friday night.

McGill was in on all four touchdowns for the Spartans. He threw for the game's first points on a 42 yard scoring pass to Henry Wells.

In the 4th quarter, McGill put Gates ahead for good on a 98 yard kick return, then followed with a 15 yard TD run. When Schroeder had scored again, McGill ran the ensuing kick 86 yards for the game clinching score.

Parrish McKnight had 369 total yards, ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in defeat for the Warriors.

Comments

there is more to the Gates Chili football team other then Marcus McGill. The coach ONLY relys on this kid and does not reconginze the other kids on the team. GC schould be ashamed to have a coach like that.
