LPGA Championship Set To Begin Thursday

The Wegmans LPGA Championship will begin Thursday at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford. 

Round one starts at 7:15 a.m. as groups tee off from the first and tenth holes.  Defending Champion, Cristie Kerr (winner by 12 strokes last year) will begin play at 8:54 a.m. as she is paired with Michelle Wie and Brittany Lincicome.  Another prominent group has Natalie Gulbis, Karrie Webb and Laura Davies playing together, beginning their round at 1:10 p.m. from the tenth tee box. 

Tickets for the LPGA Championship remain available at area Wegmans stores and can be purchased for $35 for a Daily pass, $100 for a Tournament pass and $145 for a Clubhouse pass. 

The Championship concludes Sunday at Locust Hill.
