The revised production of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" opens on Broadway Tuesday night. Horrible reviews and headline-grabbing injuries delayed the opening 6 times. They went through a record setting 180 previews. U2's Bono and The Edge wrote the music for the show.
#4 - Tori Spelling
The actress and her two children were involved in a pretty big car accident Monday. Spelling says it was caused by an aggressive photographer. She was driving her kids to school when she hit a wall. Spelling and her kids are okay. Police say they are not investigating.
#3 - Miami Herald
The newspaper accidentally printing a Macy's ad congratulating the Heat on winning the NBA Championship. Well, the Mavericks won. Conan O'Brien had some fun with the ad last night. "The Miami Herald mistakenly ran a full page ad congratulating the Miami Heat on winning the NBA championship. LeBron James was so annoyed with the newspaper that he crumpled it up and tossed it just short of the waste basket." The Herald said they regret the error and apologized for any inconvenience.
#2 - Tracy Morgan
The comedian will personally apologize to people who heard his anti-gay rant in Tennessee. Earlier this month, the 30 Rock star made violent anti-gay remarks during a comedy show in Nashville. He has since released a written apology. The gay rights group GLAAD says Morgan will travel to Nashville next week to deliver a face-to-face apology.
#1 - GOP Debate
We're still 17 months away from the 2012 Presidential election. Already the likely field of Republican primary contenders are fired up. They squared off Monday night in a live, televised debate in Manchester, New Hampshire. The moderator threw a few "lighter" questions in between the big policy questions. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney got the crowd going by announcing the Bruins/Canucks score. He's currently the front runner.
