Last Kodachrome Pictures Donated to George Eastman House

It's the end of the film roll for Kodak's iconic Kodachrome film.
The pictures from the last roll were donated to the George Eastman House Monday. National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry took those final pictures. He says Kodachome was the best film for a photographer to work with. "The best part about Kodachrome were the colors. The way it registered colors, the color palette was so true to your eye and the way it recorded the colors in the world in such a poetic and beautiful way. "
Kodachrome was discontinued in 2009.

Very beautiful pictures. The Kodachome film does an excellent and unique job at capturing. I hope Kodak changes it's mind about taking it off the market. Much like the reel to reel clubs, there will be camera film clubs starting up in years to come.
