Hochul Leading in 26th District Race

Democrat Kathy Hochul is leading in the polls for the 26th Congressional
District, according to the latest poll released by the Siena Research
Institute.
Hochul holds a four point lead, 42 percent to 38 percent, over Republican Jane Corwin. Independent candidate Jack Davis has dropped from 23 percent to 13 percent. Hochul has moved ahead after a trailing Corwin by five points in a poll released April 29.
Hochul has now secured 50 percent of the support in Erie while cutting Corwin's lead in Livingston and Monroe counties in half.
The survey polled likely voters in the 26th Congressional District. It was conducted May 18-20 and has a margin error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
