The Victor Defense forced 7 interceptions as the Blue Devils routed Wayne 48-7 in the Class A Semifinal game. Victor will play Aquinas for the Class A crown next Saturday.

To the Wayne Football Team, you have had the taste of winning and the taste of defeat. Let this be a message to all the upcoming players, that hard work does pay off. You have come so close but yet so far to go. Continue the hard work and put forth the effort for the rewards shall be great. Wayne made a statement to Section Five, we shall return and will compete and not quit until we are on the top. I will never forget the pride that you young men have given to me and the community. Continue to be all you can be and never forget the ones who helped you achieve your goals. To the coaching staff, Thank-You for giving me this season and letting me live a dream which I though was impossible. I live this season over and over again, this is Wayne Eagle Pride!!!
