SCOTT’S REPORT CARD
COACHING: I thought Chan had an excellent day calling plays and the Bills clearly used the bye week to install a strong gameplan. The team played hard throughout. Grade: B-plus
OFFENSE: More than 500 yards against the NFL’s second stingiest defense is very impressive. Of course, the two picks and crucial lost fumble in OT made it for naught. Grade: B-plus
DEFENSE: They snapped their streak of yielding at least 200 yards rushing at 3 games, but Joe Flocco burned them for three TD passes. Grade: C-minus
SPECIAL TEAMS: Rian Lindell was clutch, nailing a 50-yard field goal to send the game into OT, but C.J. Spiller’s fumbled kickoff return before intermission was extremely costly. Grade: C
OVERALL: Give this to Gaily – his players play hard and the offense is entertaining. If the defense could just show a little improvement, the Bills will finally break into the win column. Grade: B.
