Dr. Rowland was born on a US Air Force base in Germany, where her father, a US Air Force Captain, was stationed. When Jill was six, Jill and her parents moved to Western New York and settled in the Town of Tonawanda.
As a long time resident of Western New York Jill has a deep personal connection with the area. She is married to Dr. Tim Votta M.D.DDS. Tim and Jill have three children.
As a mother and just entering dental school, Jill was diagnosed with cancer. While many advised her to give up on pursuing a career in dentistry, Jill persevered and not only showed her strength and determination to overcome her bout with cancer but she completed her education as well.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (1999) in Psychology and a Master of Science degree (1997) in Nutrition/Immunology from the State University of New York, Buffalo. She then obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from SUNY Buffalo in 2003.
She now works as a family dentist and is a member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Eighth District Dental Society, NRA, and S.C.O.P.E.
Instead of being a connected career professional politician, she is running out of genuine concern for the loss of our freedoms and Constitutional liberties.
Jill wants the residents of District 28 to have a voice in Congress to fight for our interests and the preservation of our freedoms for today and future generations.
