Democrats in New York brought out the big guns to support Congressman Dan Maffei.
Former President Bill Clinton made a stop in Syracuse Monday night. Maffei's 25th District covers Syracuse. Right now, he's in a tight race with Republican Ann Marie Buerkle.
Clinton told voters Monday that the GOP is toying around with voter's emotions. "We're off in the weeds here because we're all being played. All of these big interests that want to break the power of the government to create a society in which we can all go forward and loot this country and don't give a rip whether we have any new jobs or whether we have any leadership in the global race for clean energy or anything else are trying to con you into voting when you're mad and not thinking."
The general election is exactly 3 weeks away.
