K-Hawks Losing Head Coach

The man who led the Knighthawks to the first NLL title in over a decade is leaving the team. Rochester announced today head coach Ed Comeau will not be returning for the 2009 season. Reportedly, Comeau is headed to New York to be the head coach and general manager for the Titans. Comeau became the third head coach in Knighthawks history back in July of 2005 after spending a year with the team as an assistant. He led Rochester to a league championship in 2007. He finishes three years in Rochester with a record of 31-17, a team record 14 of the wins coming in the championship season. The team had no immediate announcement on Comeaus successor.
