At a joint press conference Thursday, the Rochester Rhinos club echoed the message: mission is possible. They say they're ready to hit the field for the season opener in May.
Rhinos fans are elated the upcoming season is a go. And they're not the only ones. Rhinos Soccer Star Scott Vallow is pumped to get his game on. “At the end of the day we are soccer players. That’s what we get paid to do. And as much of a distraction there is out there it’s our job to stay focused and stay tuned in and get ready to win a championship in 2008,” said Vallow.
New Rhinos Owner Rob Clark outlined some big changes. One of them is hiring a local concessionaire. Currently the contract is with Delaware North, a national corporation. The big change is a new parking plan. They plan to close down the main street that intersects with the stadium on game nights. “We are going to be closing that off for games and shuttling people from Frontier Field to our park which will be well lit. They’ll be vendors a long the streets. It’ll be more of a festive mood,” said
