RIT Whitewashed By Air Force

10-RIT2008-03-17-1205770655.jpgRIT waited a long time to play a Division One playoff game in front of a big Rochester crowd at Blue Cross Arena. It was over real quick. Air Force shut out the Tigers 5-0 to win their Atlantic Hockey semifinal at BCA Saturday night. Brent Olson and Matt Fairchild scored twice for the Falcons. Air Force found the net three times in the second period to blow open a 1-0 game. An Atlantic Hockey record 3,933 fans attended the game. Air Force will face Mercyhurst in the final tomorrow at 7pm.
