CASPERPAROLEHRGA2008-03-07-1204926797.jpgThe family of a convicted killer today spoke before the parole board...to keep him locked up.

Walter Casper was convicted of pushing the family's minivan over a cliff in Ontario County with his wife, Catherine, inside back in 1999. Recently, his murder conviction was reduced to manslaughter, meaning Casper cold soon be a free man.

More than 4,000 people have signed an online petition to protest Casper's eligibility for parole. That includes Walter Casper's sons.

"Justice that the man who killed my, our mother, and our family's sister, our daughter, that she will find justice in that her murderer will be in prison and will face the consequences," said Ben Casper.

No word yet on when the judge will make his decision on whether Casper is eligible for parole.
