Mayor Bob Duffy tells News 8 the city will soon reclaim control of
PAETEC Park.  The park is in the hands of the Rochester Rhinos, but the soccer team is in major debt over the stadium.

The Rhinos owners face a lawsuit from a lender, which says it's still owed about $11 million.  Also, a construction company and supply company are suing, saying they never got paid.

Rochester Mayor Bob Duffy says he plans to pay for 24/7 security at PAETEC Park, as well as maintenance   "We want to make sure we use it as a true asset.  We're going to work to make that happen," said Mayor Duffy.

"The city doesn't have to go begging.  We have a finished soccer stadium  It's paid for.  It's brand new.  You can rent it for a dollar a year.  This is something to offer," said Tom Richards, City Attorney.

Mayor Duffy says with a $20.6 million budget gap the city can't afford to fork over any money to save the Rhinos.
