GLOBALARTSRALLYB2008-02-28-1204241987.jpgToday a pep rally at the Global Media Arts at Franklin High School was not for sports... but for grades. Students in grades 7-12 who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher were honored by the entire school.

Motivational speaker and rapper Michael Peace entertained the crowd with song and dance. School officials say this kind of event lets kids now they're not alone in their love of learning.

Students also were treated to a buffet lunch and a full sundae bar.
