Brian is no stranger to lake effect snow, for 5 years Brian served as the weekend meteorologist for WJET-TV in Erie, PA. Brian started his broadcasting career in the Northern Plains of Bismarck North Dakota at KFYR-TV
Brian has a bachelor of science in Meteorology from Purdue University. He was active in the Purdue bands as a trumpet player. Brian says it was that love of music and performing jazz that made him decide to go into broadcast meteorology.

Brian's love for the weather began even before he entered grade school. Living in Indiana, you grow up with severe storms and just that power and beauty had him hooked and would be seen watching the weather channel and local weather regularly.

Outside of work Brian enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports especially his Purdue Boilermakers and NASCAR and enjoying all that Rochester and the surrounding areas have to offer.
