Student Leader Scholarships Main Display

WROC/FOX Rochester and Advantage Federal Credit Union would like to congratulate this year's $1,000 scholarship winners!

Kennethea Wilson (RSCD's School of the Arts - heading to Mercyhurst University)
Anges Zhang (Penfield High School - heading to New York University)

A sincere thank you to all who entered! We had a record 152 applications this year! The sheer number of hours of community service + work + school work + extracurricular activities really floored the judges. Essays touched on school budgets and bullying, to fighting cancer and making communities more "teen-friendly". The judges believe the creativity shown in those essays points to the willingness to tackle school and community issues head-on. The panel wishes a hearty "Good Luck" to all high school graduates as they pursue higher education.
