Thousands remain without power

backusyard22008-01-30-1201726823.jpgAs of 4:45pm, about 4,300 RG&E customers remain without power.  Midday, that number was around 13,000.   Most of the power outages are focued on Monroe County's west side, including Ogden, Chili, Parma, and Gates.

RG&E tells News 8 crews will work through the night and everyone should have power back on sometime tomorrow pending any further weather problems.

As for National Grid, about 4,000 customers remain without power.  It should have power restored by late tomorrow.
