Holy Trinity to appeal to Bishop next week

Holy Trinity school plans to speak with Bishop Matthew Clark in the next week regarding the Diocese plans to shut it down. Holy Trinity is among 13 Catholic schools in the City of
Saturday night, the school had an open house as a kick-off to “Catholic Schools week”. Parishioners and other community members signed petitions in an effort to keep the schools doors open. Principal Chris Meagher told us he thinks they have a strong case to present to the bishop.
" We think we can definitely increase our enrollment significantly and we're looking forward to presenting that plus a lot of other things were working on so that we are a viable school community and can not only thrive next year but many years in to the future," says Meagher.
A team from the diocese plans to meet with principals, pastors and parents from each of the 13 schools slated to be closed within the next few weeks.
