Police say James Williams was on probation for felony DWI. During that routine probation visit, an officer noticed an assault rifle. It was loaded - Williams was taken into custody.
Authorities searched the home and found several assault rifles, black powder, thousands of rounds of ammo, a gas mask and even a rocket launcher.
"As I entered his main entrance he had an assault rifle propped inside the doorway loaded and at his disposal," said probation officer John Zito.
Williams is facing charges for violation of probation, and other charges are pending.
