Aquinas Institute says it will open up a junior high school starting next school year.  It will have an open house on February 10th for interested families.

Nazareth Academy said in a release that it's prepared to open its doors to as many students as possible.  It's offering two open houses; at the elementary school on Raines Park, and the middle school on Lake Avenue.  Both open houses are scheduled for February 7th and 12th: 6 p.m. at the elementary school and 7 p.m. at the middle school.

Mercy High School may add a sixth grade.  Bishop Kearney said it will open a 7th and 8th grade.  Right now, it's 9-12.

Rochester City Schools are also expecting to take on many of the children displaced.  In a statement released Friday afternoon, Superintendent Jean-Claude Brizard said that "it's not a matter of 'our students' and 'their students,' but rather a commitment to providing a nurturing environment... and a quality education for all of our city's children."
