grossology2008-01-18-1200683384.jpgThey say it can be a little impolite and sometimes a little slimy – it’s the the world of Grossology. The newest exhibit at the museum shows you just how your body does what it does. You can find out what causes runny noses with Nigel Nose-It-All. Or you can check out the burp man or vomit center to find out why "it" comes up and out of your mouth.

“People just cringe, then laugh, then can't wait to see it,” said Susan Trien, director of public relations and advertising at the museum.

The exhibit is truly gross, but gives kids and adults a hands-on experience that makes science more fun to learn.

“We all have these things,” Trien said.  “Why not learn about how your body functions to protect you and keep you healthy. That's all it's about!”

The Grossology exhibit officially opens this weekend and will stay open until May 11th. Catch the sights and smells while you can.
