police2008-01-12-1200173213.jpgA Greece teenager led Greece police on a high-speed chase in Greece on Friday, allegedly in a stolen vehicle. Police attempted to stop 17-year-old Aron Araya of

Dorsetwood Drive
after a plate check on the car he was driving revealed it was stolen a few days earlier. Araya refused to stop and led police on a high speed chase. Police say he eventually lost control of the car and fled on foot. Neighbors on
Bramhill Drive
were stunned with the scene that unfolded in there neighborhood.

"The car lost control, went over my grass, went over my neighbor's lawn, and then went over these stones and sliced this tree down and then after that, I saw the under part of his car but after that he hit the SUV over there and then that SUV hit the house," says Gianluca Sacco, a resident who witnessed the chase.

Police caught up with Araya a short time later hiding under a near-by deck. He was charged with a slew of offenses including first degree reckless endangerment and grand larceny both felonies. He is in Monroe County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
