Pictometry shows off next generation of GPS tracking devices

Local companies, including Kodak and Pictometry, are unveiling some of their latest gadgets in
Instead of carrying a map, the system gives a 3D look at where you are and the direction you're traveling.
"We realized it's also useful for navigation standpoint because how many times do you just have a street map and might not know where you are...oh there's the building I need to turn," explains Stephen Schultz of Pictometry.
Pictometry's mapped out about 80 percent of the country. The device is not yet on the market.
Kodak is on deck to show off its latest developments Tuesday.
