Gossage elected to Hall

Rich "Goose" Gossage has been selected for induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The announcement was made by Hall President Dale Petroskey Tuesday afternoon in New York City.
Gossage, who garnered 86% of the vote, pitched for nine different teams during a 22 year career. He recorded 310 saves on the mound, while winning 124 game. Gossage pitched seven different seasons as a New York Yankee, he will be enshrined on July 27th in Cooperstown.
