An early morning rollover accident in Steuben County on Sunday claimed the life of an Elmira man. State police say just after midnight, 33 year old Larry Fenstermacher was driving on County Route 41 in Hornby when he veered off the road, hit a parked car, flipped, and then hit a utility pole. His passenger, 41-year old Edward Hammond, was ejected from the car. Hammond later died at an area hospital. Police say Fenstermacher was driving while intoxicated; he has been charged with felony DWI and manslaughter.
