Extra patrols on area roadways this holiday weekend

Another reminder this weekend: keep your speed down and your seatbelts on as there will be extra patrols on the roads.  The New York State Police say they will increase the number of officers on the roads in the Greater Rochester region. Both Monroe County and Rochester are included in the state polices troop e region. There is no word on exactly how many extra patrols will be out on the area roadways but officers will be checking for a variety of violations, especially driving while intoxicated.
