16-year-old girl stabbed by another teen

TEENSTABBING2007-12-27-1198776811.jpgA teen is recovering this morning after Rochester police say she was stabbed by another teen. The stabbing happened on Rauber Street just after 8:00 last night.

Police tell us a 16-year-old girl was stabbed in the stomach by a 14-year-old girl. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, her name has not been released.

The 14-year-old suspect was taken into custody. Rochester police believe the incident stemmed from a neighborhood dispute earlier in the day.
