Florida State University could be without several players for their appearance in the Music City Bowl on December 31 due to an alleged academic misconduct case involving student-athletes and a former tutor.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported on Tuesday that as many as 12 players could likely be suspended due to their involvement in the cheating scandal.

On Monday, the paper also reported that the school has been investigating the scandal that centered around an online test.

The Seminoles are 7-5 on the season and will play Kentucky in the Music City Bowl.
