New leadership on City Council

NEWLEADERSCITYCOUNCIL2007-12-17-1197932990.jpgAfter more than a decade as a member of Rochester's City Council, Gladys Santiago will become the President of that Legislative body on January 2nd.

Santiago replaces Lois Geiss who did not seek re-election after more than 20 years of service.

Santiago, who currently serves as the Council's Vice President, will be replaced in that role by Bill Pritchard who is completing his fourth year as a Council-member.

Both will be sworn into their leadership posts at the Council's re-organizational meeting on January 2, 2008.
