syracuse-basketball2007-12-17-1197911622.jpgEric Devendorf is out for the season. Syracuse's most experience player tore the ACL of his left knee yesterday against East Tennessee State. The injury happened in the first minute of the second half. Devendorf was trying to finish a fast break and came down from a shot awkwardly. Visibly in pain, Devendorf gimped to the Orange bench and fell on graduate assistant coach Kip Wellman. He was carried off and did not return to the game. An evaluation Sunday revealed the ligament tear. Devendorf will have surgery at a yet to be determined date.
