Charge in deadly deer hunting accident

A Webster man is facing serious charges after police say he shot and killed a deer hunter in Allegany County.


John Gisel, 38, was arraigned Wednesday on a manslaughter charge.

State police say he shot Brandon Haugh, 30, in the woods of Almond on December 1st.

Polise say Gisel thought he was shooting a deer.

Gisel has been released without bail.
