JMac spoke to a full room at the Doubletree in Henrietta for this year's Youth Services Quality Council Meeting. This annual meeting is a chance to focus on goals for next year.

"More importantly, kids matter.  And Moms and Dads and Gramma and Grandpa and the other adults that work with kids matter, and so it's important to us to be able to offer better services for kids, be more attuned to what needs and issues going on, and how can we adapt perhaps some of the things we do," says prevention director Jerry Bennett.

The council provides services such as mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and residential care to kids and families.
