Rochester commemorated the 19th annual World AIDS Day with a "Circle of Life" AIDS benefit concert. Peace art international puts on the annual concert which features local poets, musicians and dancers. The concert raises money for orphans affected by HIV and AIDS in Haiti.
Rochester is one of just a handful of sites in the nation trying to develop a successful HIV vaccine. Researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center say they need volunteers to participate in the trials. The HIV vaccine trials do not and cannot give you HIV. If you would like to learn more about how to participate call: 756-2DAY.
