The Section Five basketball season slowly getting underway...a smattering of games here and there before it kicks into high gear next week and that's when we launch our Roundball Roundup.
Eastridge girls home to East High
Lindsay Schleyer steal and the lay in...part of a 14-0 run for Eastridge to open the game. East came right back with an 11-point surge of their own…keyed by Timisha Joseph’s three point play. Then, Ashley Armstrong, two of her team high 13 as the Orientals come all the way back to win 43-40.
Boys action Gananda home to Red Jacket
Red Jacket holds on to win 49-43.
