Police investigate possible attempted abduction near school in Seneca Falls

Police in Seneca Falls have stepped up patrols this morning, after an alleged attempted abduction yesterday. Police say a middle school student was walking to school on Boston Avenue. When he observed a man sitting in a car. The student says the man put on a grey ski mask and then he heard a car door shut. The student took off running and notified officials of the incident at school. The suspect is described as a white male with dirty blonde hair, in his late 20s to early 30s. Along with the ski mask he was wearing a black hoodie with green letters and Timberland style boots. The vehicle is described as a 4 door newer model, red vehicle. Anyone with information should call Seneca Falls Village Police at (315) 568-5555.
