Toll increase coming to international crossings

Don't forget to pack along some extra cash if your planning a trip to Canada for the holidays. In about a week it will cost you a little more to use several of the local international crossings. In response to the weakness of the U.S. Dollar, toll rates will be changing at the Rainbow, Whirlpool and Lewiston-Queenston Bridges. Canadian toll rates will decrease to $3.25 while U.S. Toll rates will increase to the same amount. The change is set to take effect on November 15th.
