The State University of New York at Geneseo is remembering a student killed in a hit and run accident in Groveland. 20 year-old Kaitlin Charity of Islip, New York, died on October 20th in a hit-and-run accident on I-390 while returning to campus. She was pulled over for speeding. Police say after the officer left, Charity got out of her car and was hit by at least three other vehicles. Police say they believe they have found all three vehicles involved but so far, no charges have been filed.
Thursday night, friends and fellow students wrote notes to their friend, Kaitlyn Charity at theUnion ballroom. The dedication was planned by two of Charity's closest friends. They are creating a notebook from the written notes and will then give that notebook to the Charity family.
