Bomb squad called to Durham Street

Rochester Police called in the bomb squad overnight for two suspicous objects at Durham Street and MacBeth Street. Around 12:45 a.m., police recieved a call reporting the sound of two loud explosions. When police arrived they found smoke in the air but found no signs of a fire.
Police did find two suspicious objects, then evacuated two homes and called in the bomb squad, who removed the objects. Police say the devices appear to be homemade, but no word yet if they are explosives.
