Downtown Rochester shooting

DOWNTOWNSHOOTING2007-10-29-1193695197.jpgRochester police are on the scene of a shooting in downtown Rochester this afternoon.

The incident happened around 4pm.

Officers have blocked off Saint Paul Street between East Main and Mortimer Sts.

9-1-1 dispatchers confirm the victim has been taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the suspect ran into the Clarion Riverside Hotel.

One person was taken into custody inside the Clarion.
